Aspire at BiGAustin

The Aspire at Big Austin project is a proposed 368-unit multifamily housing development located at the intersection of Braker Lane and Highway 35 in North Austin. This project is a partnership between Big Austin, Mission Development Group, and the Travis County Facilities Corporation (TCFC), with the NRP Group facilitating the development. The project will utilize Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and has applied for funding from the City of Austin. As the project lies outside of the Housing Authority of Travis County's (HATC) usual area of operations, the City of Austin and the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) are required to request HATC’s involvement and authorize a cooperation agreement before the project proceeds. Resolution No. TCFC-2024-17 outlines the terms of the partnership and authorizes the necessary agreements and filings with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA).
