Upland Apartments

The Upland Apartments is a 311-unit multifamily development located at Tech Ridge Boulevard and Interstate 35 in Austin. It was developed in partnership between TCFC and Embrey Partners, with TCFC having an ownership interest per Resolution No. TCFC-2020-03. To provide affordable workforce housing, 50% of the units (156 units) are reserved for tenants earning up to 80% of the area median income in Travis County. The remaining 155 units are rented at market rates. TCFC assisted in the development as a co-developer and general contractor. This project has been completed and the affordable units must be priced at least $200 below comparable market rate units as required by TCFC's agreement with the Housing Authority of Travis County.
