The bylaws outline the governing structure and processes for the Housing Authority of Travis County through definitions of officers, their duties, and requirements for meetings and voting. Travis County Commissioner Court Resolution of Formation
December 23, 1975
This resolution was passed by the Travis County Commissioners Court to declare a need for the Housing Authority of Travis County to operate and exercise its powers. The resolution found that there existed unsanitary and unsafe housing as well as a shortage of affordable and safe accommodations for low-income families in Travis County, and authorized the Housing Authority to conduct business and utilize its abilities under Texas law.
