This resolution was passed by the Travis County Commissioners Court to declare a need for the Housing Authority of Travis County to operate and exercise its powers. The resolution found that there existed unsanitary and unsafe housing as well as a shortage of affordable and safe accommodations for low-income families in Travis County, and authorized the Housing Authority to conduct business and utilize its abilities under Texas law.
