The Literacy Coalition offers FREE programs to help adults and families improve their skills and achieve their goals. Whether you're looking to earn your GED, learn English, prepare for a career, or give your child a head start, we have a program for you.
1. FREE GED Classes:
- Prepare for and earn your GED completely FREE.

2. FREE Family Education Program:
- Free classes for you and your child (18 months - 4 years old).
- English classes for parents.
- Parenting and school readiness preparation.
- Social services available.

- Pioneer Crossing Elementary: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 9:30am-11am
- Wildhorse Elementary: Wednesdays/Fridays, 9:30am-11am

3. FREE Career Readiness Workshops:
- Three-part workshop series covering resume writing, interview skills, digital literacy, and workplace professionalism.
- FREE Chromebook upon completion of all three workshops (while supplies last).
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Resident, employed, or have a child attending school in Austin or Travis County.
- 18 years or older.
- Income requirement (less than 200% of FPIL).
- Workshop Dates & Time: November 5th-7th, 10am-2pm (attendance required for all 3 days)
