Golden Harvest Farmers Market

‍Manor, TX — The Golden Harvest Farmers Market, hosted at the Manor Town II residence, proved to be a heartwarming and impactful success as more than 31 senior residents received fresh, nutritious produce for the month—completely free of charge.

This uplifting event was made possible through the collective efforts of BiGAUSTIN, Carleton Companies, and our dedicated partners at the Central Texas Food Bank, who generously provided an abundance of healthy vegetables for our beloved seniors. With grocery prices on the rise, this service not only nourished bodies but also saved residents money and provided peace of mind.

“Seeing our seniors walk away with full bags and full hearts is what this event is all about,” said Chessie Floyd, Self-Sufficiency Case Manager at BiGAUSTIN. “The smiles, hugs, and tears of joy reminded us how vital this support is for our community.”
"It was an honor to be part of something that truly touched lives," said Alecia Campbell, Special Events Specialist at the Housing Authority of Travis County. “This wasn’t just about food—it was about showing care and compassion.”
"We’re proud to partner with organizations like BiGAUSTIN and HATC to bring healthy food directly to those who need it most," said Rachel Rodriguez, Seniors Program Manager at Central Texas Food Bank. "Access to nutritious food should never be a luxury—it’s a right."
