Holiday Health Check Block Party at Alexander Oaks!

Get ready for some holiday cheer and a focus on wellness at our Holiday Health Check Block Party! This fun-filled event is happening on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, from 12 PM to 5 PM at Alexander Oaks (6119 Valiant Circle, Austin, TX 78749). While this event is hosted at Alexander Oaks, all HATC residents are welcome!

What to Expect:

  • Health Vendors: Learn valuable tips for staying healthy during the holidays and beyond. Connect with health resources and gain insights into wellness practices.
  • Gifts, Giveaways & Raffles:  Registered children will receive a special gift, and everyone has the chance to win exciting prizes, including the opportunity to save money on your rent!  To secure your child's gift and be entered into the raffle, you MUST register by December 15th.
  • BBQ Feast: Enjoy a delicious Texas-style BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, chicken, and more!
  • Games & Prizes:  Fun for the whole family with games, activities, and opportunities to win prizes.
  • Fun for the Whole Family:  Activities promoting exercise and mental wellness will be available for everyone to enjoy!

This event is a collaborative effort between the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC), Big Austin, and the Black Men's Health Clinic, dedicated to improving access to vital healthcare resources within our community.  We encourage all eligible residents to attend and take advantage of these important services.  We look forward to seeing you there!
