Housing Authority of Travis County uses a virtual check-in form to collect the information needed to assist visitors and follow up about their visit.
Information We Collect
If you utilize our virtual check-in form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, visit reason, selected staff member, check-in details, and post-visit survey responses.
If you choose to receive text messages, we store your SMS consent response and may use your phone number to send check-in confirmations and post-visit survey links.
How We Use Information
We use submitted information to:
- notify staff that you have checked in;
- send check-in confirmations;
- send post-visit survey links when you have opted in to SMS or provided an email address;
- match post-visit survey responses to a prior check-in when possible;
- improve visitor service and administrative workflows.
SMS Privacy
Mobile opt-in information and consent are used only for HATC visitor communications related to check-ins and post-visit follow-up. We do not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information.
Message frequency varies based on your visits. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help operate this check-in system, send email, send SMS, or store submitted responses. These providers are used only to support HATC operations.
We may also disclose information when required by law or applicable public records obligations.
