Public Comment Period for the HATC 2026 PHA Annual Plan and 2026-2030 Five-Year Plan

A 45-Day Public Comment Period for the 2026 HATC Annual Plan and 2026-2030 HATC Five-year Plan will commence on Friday, August 15, 2025, and conclude on Monday, September 29, 2025. A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in conjunction with the HATC Board of Commissioners Regular Board Meeting at 9:30 AM to receive public input for the draft 2026 Annual Plan and the draft 2026-2030 Five Year Plan. The HATC Board of Commissioners will act on the draft Plans, including feedback received at the Public Hearing, at the conclusion of the October 2, 2025, Board of Commissioners meeting.

How to submit public comment (during the August 15–September 29, 2025 comment period)

  • Email: Submit to [email protected]. Please include “2026 Plans Public Comment” in the subject line.
  • Mail: Mail written comments (postmarked by September 29, 2025) to: Housing Authority of Travis County, Attn: Policy & Planning – 2026 Plans, 502 E. Highland Mall Blvd., Austin, TX 78752].
  • In person: Deliver written comments to  during business hours
  • At Board Meetings / Public Hearing Meeting: Provide oral testimony at a prior board meeting or during the hearing on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the HATC main office. Virtual participation is also an option - see hatctx.com/board-meetings for a list of board meeting dates/times, and participation instructions.
